Care Bridge is an international nonprofit focused on humanitarian aid across Sub-Saharan Africa. They approached Fuse with a critical problem — their website was failing to convert compassionate visitors into donors. Despite meaningful work and genuine stories to tell, the digital experience was disconnected and underperforming.
The Challenge
The existing platform lacked emotional engagement, a seamless donation flow, and mobile responsiveness. Donor trust signals were absent — no progress bars, no impact statistics, no transparent use-of-funds breakdowns. Volunteers were also unable to sign up easily. The organisation was leaving significant donation revenue on the table.
Our Solution
We designed a campaign-first website with emotionally resonant visuals and a clear narrative arc: problem → mission → impact → donate. We integrated a streamlined donation widget supporting one-off and recurring giving, with suggested amounts and fund allocation breakdowns. A real-time impact counter (meals served, families helped, schools built) was built to reinforce trust. A volunteer sign-up flow was embedded directly into the homepage.
